Visual asbestos is identified before works commence and removed by a specialised Asbestos Removalist.
A local Campbellfield crew, so your job is simple to coordinate.
You know exactly what's included before you say yes.
Knocking down your home to rebuild is a big step. Our job is to make the demolition the easy part. We quote every house individually after looking at the site, then manage the process from permits through to a clear, level block your builder can start on.
What is included in a house demolition
- Building permit and council demolition consent applied for on your behalf
- Help with your asset protection permit for footpaths and crossovers
- Asbestos identified and removed safely by licensed removalists
- Temporary fencing and protection works with neighbours where needed
- Removal of the house, sheds, garages, pools, paths and driveways as quoted
- Site cleared and levelled, with certificates provided at the end
Brick, weatherboard and fibro homes
We demolish all common Melbourne house types, from post-war weatherboards and fibro cottages to double brick and brick veneer homes. Fibro and homes built before 1990 often contain asbestos, so we check for it early and include it in your quote rather than surprising you later.
Only need part of the house removed? We also do partial demolitions for extensions and renovations, and commercial building demolition for builders and developers.
House demolition across Melbourne
From our yard in Campbellfield we cover all of Metropolitan Melbourne and the majority of Victoria.
Can you work with my builder's timeline?
Yes. Most house demolitions start about 4 weeks after you accept the quote, or around 6 weeks if protection works are needed. Tell us your builder's start date and we will plan around it.
How long does a house demolition take?
Obtaining a demolition permit can take up to 4 weeks, or 6 weeks if protection works are required. If other council requirements are involved, such as laneway or footpath closures, this can take 8 to 10 weeks. The demolition itself usually takes 1 to 2 weeks, depending on the size of your project.
Do I need a permit to demolish my house?
In most cases, yes. We apply for the relevant permit for you.
What about asbestos?
Visual asbestos is identified during the quoting process. Before demolition works commence, the asbestos is safely removed.
Do you also supply skip bins?
Yes. Demolition and skip bins come from one team. We organise skip bins throughout your project, and this is included in the removal and disposal of materials from your site.
How much does a demolition cost?
It depends on the size, materials, access and any asbestos. Get a free itemised quote and you'll know exactly what's included.
